Animal Rights
Animal cruelty and neglect are serious criminal offenses.
Each owner shall provide for each of their companion animals:
- Adequate food and water
- Adequate shelter that is properly cleaned
- Adequate space in the primary enclosure for the particular type of animal depending on its age, size, species, and weight
- Adequate exercise
- Adequate care, treatment, and transportation
- Veterinary care when needed or to prevent suffering or disease transmission
