Quilting 101: Rotary Cutting Basics

Never quilted before but always want to learn how? We’ll discuss color coordination, tips and tricks of strip cutting and sewing that you can turn into quilt squares. You’ll try your hand at the rotary cutter method that saves endless hours of construction; then sew your pieces into a square. Additional session cost: $5.00.

Women of the Bible: “She Did WHAT!?”

Most of us are pretty familiar with the “big” names of women in the Bible. Rev Jeri Posey will take you on a tour of the “lesser” known women in the Old and New Testaments. It will be an entertaining study, we promise!

Couponing 101: Money Saving Tips

Learn how to maximize all the “money-off” coupons and deals you get flooded with. Sharon Johnson, columnist in the PG Journal, has a ton of ideas, materials, and tips that she will hand out to help you start saving big bucks.

Introduction to CPR: An Overview

Learn the basics for CPR. (This will NOT be a certified class but your will have the option to register for certification training.) And if time allows, Donald Hunter (from the county’s Fire and EMS Department) will fill the session with helpful fire and safety tips you need to know.

Card Making: Personalize your Message

Be creative and join us to make your own greeting cards. We will cut, snip, glue and paste as many cards as you can put together in the session. We’ll also demonstrate the use of the Cricut machine and let you cut your own designs for construction. Additional fees will be based on the number of cards you can complete.
Additional session cost: $.50 per card

Stained Glass Design: A Demo

This session will show you all the ins and outs of constructing a beautiful, stained glass masterpiece. Jerry and Gladys Rogers are masters of design. They have all the tools to give you step-by-step directions. Take a chance to win the finished demonstration project!

Wreath Making: Create a face lift!

Need a spring spruce up? Here’s your chance to design a new wreath for inside the house or out that will chase away the winter doldrums. Choose to simply watch the demonstration for no additional fee or dig in hands-on and take home a completed project for $30.00.

Czechoslovakian Cooking: BCC’s Heritage

Bethlehem is known for its famous kolachy. You will actually work the dough and make a roll that you can take home filled with your favorite filling. A session favorite!
