(Prince George, VA) – Couple Arrested For String of Larcenies from Lowes
On March 6, 2018, Prince George County Police Department arrested Terry Bell Jr. and Brandi Flippo for stealing four chainsaws from Lowes Home Improvement store in Prince George County. Between the dates of February 1st and March 5th of this year, the four Husqvarna chainsaws valued at over $200 a piece were taken by the duo.
The investigation revealed that Bell and Flippo entered the store, and simply grabbed one chainsaw on four separate occasions and walked out. Due to the efforts of Lowes employees, and store camera footage, police were able to identify the couple and retrieve the stolen items. An additional chainsaw and leaf blower were recovered that police believe were taken from another locality.
Terry Bell Jr, age 39, of Dinwiddie County, and Brandi Flippo, age 24, of Hopewell, were transported to Riverside Regional Jail, and both charged with four counts of grand larceny, four counts of conspiracy to commit larceny, and four counts of selling stolen property for profit.
