Prince George County Offers Emergency Response Course:
Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE)

On September 7, the Prince George Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) in cooperation with the Prince George Police Department will present a 60-minute course to educate the public of the most effective ways to respond to an active shooter incident. The course will begin at 6:30 pm in the auditorium of Prince George High School.


The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course was designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy which was developed in 2004. The program provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event.
