4-H Space Camp
February 24-26, 2017

The 4-H Space Camp is an earth science adventure weekend for youth ages 9 to 13.  Included in the weekend experience will be activities such as:

  • Model rocket construction and launching
  • Bottle rocket construction and launching
  • Workshops on astronomy, botany, chemistry, and wildlife
  • Experienced facilitators teaching earth science topics
  • Telescopic examinations of the sky during the day and night
  • Study and hands-on interaction with numerous plant and animal specimens
  • Cool chemistry experiments
  • Opportunities to make new friends with others interested in science

To register for the event, complete the attached registration form and mail it along with the $110.00 fee to (make check payable to Airfield 4-H Center:

Registration deadline is February 8, 2017.  The registration fee is non-refundable after February 15, 2017.

There is a limited number of openings.  Space will be filled on a first-com, first-served basis.  Registration fee includes meals, snacks, lodging, and program materials.
