Heritage Center

Set on Courthouse Square in the Prince George County Historic Courthouse District, the Heritage Center brings together centuries of artifact and stories about one of the most historic counties in Virginia. The Center’s state-of-the–art exhibits tell the fascinating story of the County from pre-history to present day: its land, its people, its community, all surviving change and challenge through the centuries. Its artifacts and stories uniquely present the society and cultures of those who have settled and lived in Prince George: the natives to the land, the English settlers along the James River, the African –Americans, the Czech-Slovaks, and many others, all contributing to the story of the County.
