Probation Services


Offenders with a deferred disposition or a suspended sentence of twelve months or less may be placed on local probation by any of the courts of the localities we serve. There are standard conditions of probation, and there may be special conditions as established by the court, which may include the following:  

  • Community Service
  • Drug/Alcohol Testing
  • Smart Start, alcohol monitoring program (fee required)
  • Substance Abuse Counseling/Education
  • Anger Management/Education
  • Batterers Intervention
  • Shoplifting Prevention
  • Parenting Classes
  • Home Electronic Monitoring (fee required)

Supervision will typically last from six months to a year depending on the specific requirements imposed by the court as part of the offender's probation.
