(Prince George, VA) – Traffic stop leads to arrests with firearm and drugs seized 

On January 29, 2018, at about 2:30 am, an officer with the Prince George County Police Department conducted a vehicle stop on a gray Nissan sedan in the 5500 block of County Drive (Route 460) for a traffic violation. 

The vehicle was occupied by three males and one female; the female was a Lyft driver.  During the stop, evidence was presented that led to a search of the vehicle.  The search of the vehicle, as well as the occupants, resulted in the recovery of approximately 3.4 lbs. of marijuana, packaging materials, a loaded 9mm handgun and ammunition.  In addition, over $6600 in currency was seized. The investigation revealed that the three males were being transported from the Chesapeake area to the City of Petersburg.  

All three male passengers were arrested on the scene without incident. No charges are being sought at this time for the female Lyft employee.   

The subjects were transported to Riverside Regional Jail where they are being held on the following charges:

Wilson Doswell IV, 19-year-old male-Resident of Dumfries, Virginia

Isaiah Gordon, 20-year-old male-Resident of Dumfries, Virginia
