Amar Shah M.D. joins Virginia Care Partners as Medical Director. A board-certified family medicine physician with Prime Care Family Practice in Prince George, he is also a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Wayne State University in Detroit. He is a team physician for Colonial Heights High School, as well as an assistant clinical professor at VCU.
