Attention Local Photography Enthusiasts
Are you a photographer or would you like to become one?

We are looking for residents of the greater Burrowsville community interested in forming a local photography club. All experience levels are welcome from beginners to professionals. This will be an opportunity to learn and socialize among fellow photographers. We will share our collective knowledge and skills about all types of photography, techniques and favorite local sites to shoot.

All that is required is a love of photography, a working camera of any type, and a mature, positive attitude. Membership is open to all residents, 16 years of age or older. Members under the age of 18 will require the completion of a parental permission form to join. The parental permission slip will be available at the first meeting.

This is your opportunity to form the club and make it what you want it to be. The first meeting will be Tuesday January 17, 2017 at 7 pm at the Burrowsville Community Center. The dates and times of future meetings will be determined by the group. In addition, the group will determine the format of meetings and whether membership will be free or if a nominal monthly fee will be changed to cover refreshments and contest prizes.

It is our hope to include local photo trips, member led workshops in the classroom and field, member critiques of each other’s photos, model shoots, talks by local photography professionals, member contests and photography exhibits open to the public.

If you would like more information, have questions or are interested in joining, please reply with your e-mail address or contact information to Tom Horsch at tomh1313@gmail.com or Candy White at friendsofburrowsville@gmail.com.
