Farmers' Market 2018 Season Begins May 5

The 2018 Season officially begins on Saturday, May 5, 2018.  The Farmers' Market will open along side the Prince George Woman's Club Community Day and the Hometown Heroes 5K.  Festivities begin at 8 am and will run through 12 pm.  If you are still looking for something to do after 12, the Guns 'N Hoses Softball game will follow at Scott Park.  Please come out and support your local growers and artisans.

The Farmers' Market Organizational Meeting that was originally planned for Thursday, April 12 has been postponed due to a schedule conflict.

It will now take place on Saturday, April 28 from 9 am to 11 am at the Central Wellness Center, 11023 Prince George Drive, Disputanta. You must contact Kirsten Cherry or Chip Saunders to register at (804) 722-8777 or farmersmarket@princegeorgecountyva.gov. We will be sending out letters to past vendors. New vendors are welcome.

Starting with the 2018 Season, all vendors who plan to sell more than 4 times at the market during the 2018 season are REQUIRED to register online at https://www.managemymarket.com/landing.aspx?orgID=1142.

For those who have trouble with the application or do not have access to the Internet, we will assist you in signing up at the meeting on April 28 in the new computer lab. You must be registered one week before you plan to sell. If you can't make the meeting and need assistance, please contact us at (804) 722-8777 and we can make arrangements to meet you at the Central Wellness Center Computer Lab one evening or at the Prince George Library on weekdays.

For non-profits or people selling less than 4 times, we will still have paper applications, but those must be sent in or delivered to the market one week prior to the selling date. One application per season is all that is required. All details are located at http://www.princegeorgecountyva.gov/FarmersMarket.
