The National Association of Government Webmasters recently announced winners in their 2009 Pinnacle Awards: program. Prince George County placed seventh nationally in the medium-sized category of competition. The judges noted that the Prince George website was, “clean, simple, informative and makes good use of colors in overall design.” The judges also noted that the website was “very functional and easy to navigate.”
Bill Stewart is the Director of Information Services for Prince George County. County IT Applications Specialist Kirsten Cherry provides primary support for the County’s website.
“Providing useable information to our citizens is a critical objective of County government and our excellent website makes this task much easier. Our Information Technology Staff is to be commended for a job well done,” said County Administrator John G. Kines, Jr.
