(Prince George, VA) – Prince George Fire & EMS Urges Citizens to Take Advantage of the EMS*AID Subscription Program

Faced with tough economic times, families everywhere are forced to make cuts whenever possible. Prince George Fire & EMS urges citizens to take advantage of the EMS*AID program so that they may avoid increasing healthcare cost if transported to the hospital for a medical emergency.

EMS*AID is an annual subscription program offered to citizens to defray out-of-pocket expenses such as health insurance co-payments for emergency ambulance transportation to area hospitals by the Prince George EMS Units. The $59.00 yearly subscription will cover all enrolled members of household. Enrollment forms and a check payable to Treasurer, Prince George County must be completed and submitted to the Prince George Fire & EMS office before January 31, 2010 to be eligible for the 2010 year. Subscriptions are valid January 1, 2010 through January 31, 2011.
