(Prince George, VA) – Bicycles remain associated with more childhood injuries than any other consumer product except the automobile.  Wearing a helmet reduces the risk of brain injury by approximately 90%.

The Prince George Police Department and the Parks and Recreation Department are co-sponsoring a bicycle rodeo at Baxter Ridge Park, Saturday, October 20th from 10am to 1pm.

Participants are to meet at the park in Baxter Ridge subdivision which is located in the 7500 block of Woods Ridge Trace.

Participants must bring their bicycle and safety equipment.
