MAT Training:
Prince George Department of Social Services will be offering MAT Training Part 2 for Child Care Providers.
Saturday, October 13, 2012:

Trainer: Mrs. Ann Jordan, Certified MAT Trainer.
The MAT Independent Study course is developed based on the original MAT course, comprised of two parts. The first part is a self-paced online review, and the second part consists of hands-on practice time and testing with an approved MAT Trainer. The completion of MAT Independent Study Part 1 (MAT IS) is required and available online at http://mat-elearning.medhomeplus.org. You will need to provide certificate of completion prior to participation in this Part 2 Training.

Prince George Department of Social Services is hosting a Training Summit for Child Care Providers. Come enjoy refreshments, giveaways, and knowledge!

Child care providers will receive 3 CEUs for the three training topics.
Training Curriculum:
- Providing care for the incapacitated child
-Working with the substance-exposed child
-Handling blood and body fluids
There is a $5.00 fee for participation that will cover the cost of refreshments. Giveaways include goody bags as well as activity pages and books for kids.
