- Include three (3) sets of plot plans drawn to scale which include:
- Lot and house dimensions
- Location of the dwelling on the lot (show distances to front, side and rear lot lines)
- Location of easements
- Location of the private well and drain field if County utilities are not provided
- Include three (3) sets of structural plans (blueprints) which include:
- Footing and foundation design
- Sizes and spans of all structural lumber (e.g. floor joists, rafters, girders, etc.)
- Room sizes, floor area, and finished floor area
- Stair details
- Floor plan and wall section
- Roof slopes (pitch) and truss diagram with engineer's seal (if trusses are to be used)
- Window sizes
- Siding and roof covering materials
- Interior wall and ceiling finishes
- Wall, ceiling and floor insulation (R Values)
- Information required by Building Official during plan review.
- Name, address and license number of your Contractor.
- Accurate description of the job location, including legal description (Tax Parcel Number, Lot, Block, Section Number and Subdivision
- Mechanic's Lien Agent Form
- Payment of permit fee. Staff will help you calculate this fee if you need assistance
- Make sure you sign the application and provide a telephone and FAX number where you can be reached during our regular business hours (8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday - Friday).
- If owner is doing the work, an Owner's Affidavit is required.
